Dunno what the velocities were like, but 18.5 gr. of H110 over the Speer 130 gr. SP shot nicely out of my carbine.
Just out of curiosity, with the ban expired...why is your pistol still bolt action? Also, how'd you go about putting the pistol together? I've fantasized about chasing bambi with an AR pistol, and went so far as to have my stripped lower papered as a "pistol" when I bought it. I've been thinking about a 10.5 or 11.25 whisper upper just for the hell of it ever since I got it, so I'd be interested in what you come up with.
