I have an old Rem. Mdl.700 25-06 that groups Hornady 117 Gr loads into 1/2 inch groups after haveing glass bedded the action ,free floated the barrel,adjusted the trigger down to 3 lbs. and had the bolt locking lugs lapped. I,m still working on a Ruger single shot Mdl. No. 1 -B 25-06 and reloads, mybe I,ll get some groups under 1 1/2 inches some day. I,v taken Mule deer with both rifles but I like hunting rifles that will shoot under one inch groups.
