This would also make a dandy varmint cartridge. I have lots of experience with the 257 Roberts and 25-06 with the 85gr Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets. These bullets explode quite wildly with the 2506 such as to make a fur tube out of a groundhog. With the 257 it still makes chunks and these velocities are not much behind the 257.
I have watched this round and it's something I would like to experiment with too, I just need a life change so I can get to the range more! Someday soon perhaps?
