I have tried 10 grains of 5744 and 1680 for right at 1050fps , 16in M1S barell, carbine gas tube, neither load will hold the bolt open on last shot. They will strip a fresh round most of the time. Still a work in progress, I am working on an adjustable spring set up. It loves TNTs super sonic. BTW 5744 is much more quiet than the 1680 out of the AR or my bolt gun.
