I have been in the process of switching optics on all AR platforms as I just feel they are over glassed and to use the 2 eye open shooting method. Have started buying and mounting 1-4x24 glass on them and so far they are working well for the type of hunting I do.
Of course as you do this you look at and evaluate different models and see which one works for you. Should be getting the next one a Burris MTAC-30 1-4x24. Most of my shooting is under 150m.
