JD Jones will tell you H110 is the go to powder for the 300. I've had good luck with it. The sub loads are an exercise in consistent reloading practices. Such a little charge means minor variations can have big consequences in velocity and tragectory.

JD told me the best way is to use a Dillon progressive. Combine 10 consecutive powder charges and weigh. Divide that number by ten, and that is your actual charge, with on extra digit of accuracy. In his opinion, there is less variation in the Dillon measure using H110 than the average guy can measure on a reloading scale because the powder charge is so small.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, I run it his way. It works.
