If you want to shoot quietly without the expense and hassle of a registered suppressor a long barrel 22LR bolt action is not rediculous. Using a 10/22 with a bolt lock IS rediculous by comparison. I bought my 27" CZ becaused it does shoot the Aguila SSS ammo very quietly. I could care less about sight radius because it has a scope. Sure, it shoots supersonic ammo well too, but there a barrel over 16 or 20 inches gives little advantage.
