I have handled a few hundred M7's and the edges on them are all varied. New/unissued bayonets appeared to have a rough edge. Unit issued bayonets appear to have been sharped by the units. The M7s have many makers. The Imperials that I have had and sold seem to have had the finest edges and I believe they must have been sharpened by Imperial.
