I've got a
SA shorty with a fast twist (9.5) barrel on the way - for sub-sonic and sabots. No muzzle break (not needed for sabots). No can for many years. I'm primarily worried about excessive case volume. I may wack off an inch of the case and have Larry make me a custom gun for the shortened 50 BMG case.
I've been told optics cleaning tissue is a good filler (if you don't use a can).
