I use a Hiti 22. caliber nail gun with a 1.25 nail . First break the tap about 1/4 inch inside the trunion . leave the nail sticking out a about 1/4inch and place trunion in a vise and make sure properly secure.I used the green bullet and it turned the tap into dust and didn't hurt the threads.WHALA there you have it.please wear proper safety equipment for this .and be careful
