I would suggest you to go to the Control Panel (it is the "User CP" at the beginning of the forum page).
Then select "Edit Options", on the left.
Under "messaging & notification", on the right, mark the option "receive emails from other members".
This way other forum members will be able to contact you by email without have to look at this post.
