Update for anyone who cares
I got a reponse from Ontario regarding the M10. Their reponse (and my original e-mail) are below. I'm going to order one of these, since I think the 1095 blade will solve the only real issue I have with the M9 i.e. it doesn't hold an edge well.

The M10 Bayonet does have a 1095 Carbon Steel Blade with Zinc Phosphate
Finish. This is a new production knife for Ontario Knife and we have
not shipped to our Distributors. We are expecting to ship within the
next 2 to 3 weeks.
