This is an early prototype Buckmaster blade that came to me directly from Mr. Mickey Finn, designer and developer of the Buckmaster knife and the M9 bayonet. I sent the blade out to Joe Houser at Buck Knives and he was kind enough to personally supervise the completion of the knife with a modified 184 hilt. It is shown with a standard 184 with the Pat. Pend. markings.
