Douglas makes a good 1:8 twist 30 cal barrel. It's a blank though. You still need a smith to chamber it and fit it to your action of choice.
I don't think I would call it cheap. But it isn't so expensive as to put it into the rich man's play thing territory. You are getting what you pay for.
