I'm having great luck with AA #5. It was definatly quieter than the AA #9.
8.2 grains is very quiet with my form1 can which measures out at 110db 3 feet from the muzzle.
Its a 16.5 inch Shilen match grade barrel on a Rem 700 that I blueprinted and built and put on an HS Presicion stock.
