Well, I'm finally nearing the completion of my 300 whisper.
Just got it back from having the shilen barrel cut to 16", having the 3 lug installed, and getting a duracoat job.
It came back and I installed it in the HS stock, and shot it a couple times with the trident 9. I will say i am a little disappointed in the noise level, but it is a 9mm can, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The same can on my G34 is really quiet, but on the whisper it's considerably louder. I would love to try it with a .30 can, but don't know anyone with one around here yet.
anyway, i haven't mounted the scope so obviously I don't have a range report yet, but hopefully soon. I am going to try and load some of the ramshot enforcer and we'll see how that goes. just got my chrono in the mail, so i can give you guys some good info once i get a scope on it.
i'll keep ya posted when i start shooting paper.
