I do my trimming on a Lee classic and use a C-H 300 whisper trim die. I have not tried trimming using a 308 die. I do have the same issue with very small opening for the vacume. If doing alot of trimming I have to clean out the trimmer oftern as it gets brass built up and will clog the cutter.
