Spook, has been commissioned for the barrel build. 16", 8 twist, stainless, carbine gas system, for DPMS LR-308. The plan is to make it cycle with out help, I will be using an adjustable gas system...

7 or 8 twist .308 win
I plan to build a 16" .308 win for double duty sub and supersonic. I am sure an 8 twist will work fine, I was wondering if any one has any experience with shooting 175gr matchking at approx. 2500fps...
