thanks for all the input guys! i ended up welding...

thanks for all the input guys! i ended up welding up 1 end of the gas tube hole so i now have a closed end gas bolck. now its just a matter of a little cutting, drilling and bending.

are your gas blocks open on the end? the hole that the tube goes in on mine goes straight through(open on both ends)

Anyone have tips for shortining a gas tube? I guess my main question would be, is the swell at the end of the tube where it goes in the gas key a must for the weapon to cycle? If so how would one...
