Well, the hog hunting trip I went on a couple of weeks ago was a bust. We never saw a hog in the daylight and at night everybody (read 8 people) went on one truck and we hunted with dogs. Big woop....

Just in case everybody doesn't know, H110 and 296 are the same powder. The minor differences in published loading data is from different lots of powder being compared, not actually different powder.

I think all of JD Jones' data was done with Rem 7 1/2 primers which are standard small rifle primers. However, if I remember right Federal primers are the softest with Winchesters being the hardest.

I guess they do not realize that a standard A1 or A2 hider is plenty big for a .30 caliber bullet. A .308 round will go through up to the shoulder.
