I saw a little information of the 500 phantom with a 168gr .308 sabot. 3200 fps with 44gr of powder. That is the same velocity of a 300 Weatherby using half of the powder. That's 30% less recoil....

So yeah AA#5 would be too fast with the 125s. But it does work beautifully in contender with 6grs under a 240 SMK.
