Depends on the groove diameter of your barrel. Mine was made by Douglas and it really does measure 0.308". Therefore, I used a 0.309" sizing die for the 311-247 bullet.

If Orlites will seat in your rifle they do work unmodified as do Thermomolds. Either of these mags could do with an anti-tilt...

Does the gas tube go deeply enough into the gas key on the carrier? Is the fit good enough within the key?

If not, the rifle will short stroke or cycle inconsistently.

Ever try 6.8 AR Mags?

Guys,

The ribs of the 6.8 magazines are not as deep as those of 5.56 mags. Anyone ever tried them for 300 BLK? Might be a good way to allow loading to max length.
