240gr outlaw still too fast

I am shooting the 240gr Outlaws from a 8in bbl ar. Using vvn110 at 10gr then 9.7,9.5 and 9.2 today & still super. Love shootin deer w/em but waisting these expensive pills on paper is killin me....

I would like to be able to use cast bullets. Problem w/that is I have a aac 7.62sd,, which is a sealed can & I don't wana fill it w/gunk.

damn nice buck man! I shot 1 last week, hit rib bone on both sides and stoped in the sholder. No exit wound and no blood trail at all. All the others were thru and thru and bled like crazy.

I'll have to take a closer look when I process the meat. 1 of them is still hanging in the cooler. They may have been thrown out with the guts though.

Well, they were subsonic till it got cold. 10gr of VVN110 w/CCI primer. 7in bbl. guna back off it a bit i guess. loaded em when it was bout 75...

240gr Outlaw, 140lb buck, bout 35yd. Hit rib bone on both sides and stoped in the sholder, no exit wound. Appears to have tumbled. Massive trama in the chest cavity.

I shoot mostly 220gr pro hunters and 240 Outlaw in a 7in bbl ar. I use VVN110 and 1680 and they work well but not that quiet. Would trailboss be quieter AND cycle the action?
