M1S seat depth = Trouble?
Was working on the load for my new M1S barrel. 150gr FMJ Hornady on 15.7gr of Win 296. Book says 2.20 overall length. NO WAY would this chamber in the gun. I had to seat the bullet all the way down...

Do you guys think this is a good load?
For the .300 Whisper. LC .223 (Federal A.E.) brass, CCI small rifle primer, 18gr of H110, Hornady 150gr FMJ. This is out of an AR-15 with an E.R. Shaw 16" 1x8 twist. Going for a good super-sonic...

Building my first .300 Whisper. Since I live here in Commie-fornia I cant have a suppressor or a flash hider which leaves me needing a muzzle brake. Can anyone point me in the direction of a .30 Cal...
