Yes the reverse method will work in a lot of cases, but I am scewcutting up to a large shoulder, and without a brake (on the machine) it is to risky

I recently purchase a milling Machine and now it's time to get something to hold my end mills etc with (the Jacobs chuck works for small cutters but is no good for anything larger than about 8mm)

thinking of buying a milling machine but can't decide on to go for belt driven or gear driven.

I wont to use this machine as a drill, to replace my relic of a bench drill, as well as for milling...

Hi everyone first post so be Kind :grin:

I'm after plans for a milling attachment that fit on the lather crossslide, hopefully something which is height adjustable
