Solved my problem...

I run a 762SD on an Oly upper with 16" barrel and shoot only subsonics. I was experiencing the same problem. First shot of a 5 shot group would chrono about 70 fps slower and be 3 to 4 inches lower...

On/Off Gas Block...

Please expand on the purpose of the on/off gas block. I assume that it stops the AR from cycling and therefore reduces the noise when fired. If I am correct, is the noise reduction significant?

No Luck...

I tried a couple of 5 shot groups without the silencer and experienced the same results with the first shot always being from 40 to 70 fps slower. The first round being slower repeats itself...

Need more testing...

I don't think powder position is the problem. The Vihtavouri N110 powder is bulkier than Hodgdon H110 and seems to completely fill the case when seating Sierra 220 MatchKings at a 2.50 inch OAL.

I was told that a person about 35 miles from me got a C3 license, but he is not a C3 dealer. Is there such a thing as a C3 license? If so, what is the scoop on getting the license?

It is difficult to get a true measurement of the neck of my fired brass because is getting bent during extraction, as shown below:
