Vega duplicator problems repeating
 

Hello all. My name is Mark and I just joined this forum today I don't know a lot about wood lathes but I have a few years on metal lathes so that's just enough experience to screw up just about anything. I've been trying to turn a couple of hundred spindles for a fence I'm building (spanish cedar),and after I finally got through the hell of setting this mess up, I got it down to about 20 mins each spindle and made about 25 of them and today everything totally changed. They're running 10 thou strong on each end and 30 thou thinner in the middle, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! The most frustrating thing about all of this is that the alleged "vega company" (if it really does exsist) is incredibley unsupportive. I've been trying to buy new carbide and maybe find a manual and I know this sounds rediculas but maybe even ask someone a question :/ If anyone out there has any info, I would really apreciate any help. thanks
