Dear fellow chip makers I have had this for decades, It was the wifes
grandfathers so he would be about 120 yrs old now so my guess is it from the teens or 1920s. Mics and such dated late 1880s babbit scrapers pails of square head bolts & nuts so this tells me he was rock & rolling in his shop being in the 1920s. I have an idea but not positive as to what this is for & it fits a S Bend compound perfectly but is missing some kind of wedge. turret lathe??? sam this is from ebay but exactly like mine |
