Can anyone ID this lathe
I am going to look at this lathe tomorrow and am looking for any info I can get on it.

The thread plate looks just like my SBL Don't know if there is another tag or maybe the name is on the thread plate...Bob

Turns out it is a Ta Shing lathe made in 1981. I am researching this now. Everything is tight, the ways are in great shape, made a nice finish cut with no variation in diameter. Crossfeed and thead cutting all function properly. What else should I look for in this brand lathe?

Look for a cheap price. I would still buy it if the price was right and it will do what you need to do with it...Bob

400 bucks, any higher and i would look for a South Bend that has replacement parts...Bob
