Wax?
 

I was watching some YouTube video's on turning tops, bowls etc. and they are putting some kind of wax (while on turning lathe)and then polishing it with a cloth..... I am guessing this is a final finish.... does anyone know what this wax is? I turned my first piece... made some building blocks and then turned a couple of Tops...this is fun.

Pure beeswax is what my grandfather used, but I belive it may be depentant on the type of wood.
