Best/worst powder for Whisper in an AR?
 

Hello... off and on lurker for a while, making my first post. Sorry if this is a FAQ type question.

I've had a handful of 300 Whisper contender barrels over the years in a bunch of lengths, but I've finally got around to buying an AR upper. Most of my work has been with slower ball powders, W296/H110 , N110 and Lil'Gun. I know the Stoner platform has historically had problems with some powders, so I was wondering if there was a powder (or type) that is best avoided with the Whisper in an AR?

I get the feeling I'm going to be starting from scratch both in the rifles functioning, and the fact that my T/C loads C.O.L. is too great for the AR mag. :mad:
