Did you find any of the four sub-projectiles, and at what depth? Or was this not that bullet?
|
What was the load data from what you were shooting? Sub or super, speed, powder and primer if you don't mind. :)

No sub particals. Dont think this round does that.
Well, they were subsonic till it got cold. 10gr of VVN110 w/CCI primer. 7in bbl. guna back off it a bit i guess. loaded em when it was bout 75 out, no chrono but quiet and accurate now its in the 30s and i chronoed 1 at 1175fps. |
Yes all of the subsonic bullets that we make have sub projectiles.
|
Of the 3 deer I have shot this yr I have seen no sub particals or wounds to indicate so. I still like the round alot though. Damn sure gets the job done.

The + sign on the main core proves the mini cores launched. This photo by Ned Christiansen shows the same effect with the mini cores lined up on the Mag.

I'll have to take a closer look when I process the meat. 1 of them is still hanging in the cooler. They may have been thrown out with the guts though.
