Ak 47 Folding Stock. Is it legal to shoot if the stock in folder in?

I was wondering if you have a AK 47 with a folding stock if it is legal to shoot it while the stock is folded in? Or does the stock have to be out? Thanks Casey:machinegu :spam:

how old are you ?

Old enough to want to stay out of trouble. What I tring to get at is Is you dont have the stock out and get caught shooting it is it going to be considered a pistol with a 16" or longer barrel? Thanks

Who many do you personally own? And back to how old are you? Can you legally own any gun?

In answer to your question, and I didn't look up the regs, but as long as your weapon with the stock extended is long enough to make in a title 1 weapon (non-SBR) then you can shoot the rifle with the stock folded if you wish...

Now, there are special reinforcement plates designed to help adsorb the energy from this and it sure isn't good for the gun if it was not designed and reinforced for pistol style shooting...

Good Luck!

Thanks quarterbore for answering my question. I have own five guns right now but soon to be more. I know that I would be tempted to shoot it with stock in. Around here the game wardens watch you like a hawk even if your not hunting. Thanks again.
