Question KAC SR-25 FF RAS/Armalite AR10 Forends

Anyone remember for sure if a KAC SR-25 FF Rifle Length RAS Forend will fit/work on:
an Armalite AR10A4 20" with Standard Factory Handguards?
or on:
an Armalite AR10T SS 24" with Factory Fiberglass FF Tube?

Have been kicking the question around for a week and no one can remember for sure. Seems like I remember it would not fir on the AR10A4 but that it would fit on the AR10T but would be a tight fit and cause some heat retention in the area of the chamber end of the barrel.

Anyone remember for sure?
Thanks,
Dan

Yes, this will DEFINATELY work with an AR-10! You only need the AR-10T barrel nut and the colar for your first example or use the parts that come with your second.

Do you have a source for one of these? I have wanted one for a LONG time but I do like my SWS float tube I am using. Still would like to build a better Mk 11 Mod 0 clone with the real tube if I could get one.

As for the space issue, if you were shooting full auto this MIGHT be an issue but you are correct that the AR-10 barrel tends to be a little heavier in the rear then the SR-25 but lots of guys use these without problem... Get it if you can find one at a price you are willing to pay!

Thanks for the info. I might get lucky. If I happen to lucky times two I will let you know. I know you have been interested in these and looking for one just like me for quite some time. Wish me luck. I'm going in.

I bought this one from Excalibur Arms a couple of years ago. You might check with them. Who knows, you might get lucky. http://www.sr-25.com/index.htm
