Am I correct in understanding that only 800 units of these sand color M9's were made?, I do have 1 of the very same M9's as pictured above in my collection, but I had no idea how many units were made...Am I correct of my thinking??...Thanks everyone!

Just the last weekend I realized I have a copy of an advertisement by the Condor Corporation about these commemoratives. I don't remember if the number of the units made was written on it. Will post a scan of this ad as soon as possible. |
Marine01: If you are interested in the MPBS M9 (and from your comments it sounds like you are), if you do not have it, I would recommend picking up a copy of "The Military Knife & Bayonet" by Homer Brett. There are a good number of M9 bayonets pictured in the book, and photographs are excellent. There is another book called "American Gladius", by M. Patarozzi, which specifically addresses the M9 bayonet as taken into service by the U.S. Army & U.S.M.C. Pictures are marginally acceptable. At this time there is no all-round reference dealing with the M9 bayonet in depth.

A Fistful of Dollars ...
... sometimes, the price is correct .. 300 $ ... always better that the " commémontario " probably made at more 500 units ... i'm not sure at 100 % without proof .. only ... 99

Nice!
Now you need (if you didn't have it already) the second Desert Storm variation, marked Phrobis Int'l  |
Or the first variation like you have now, but without "SPAIN" surcharge. You must have gotten that one from John Gibson's website. He also has a Eickhorn XM9 KCB77 available at a very good price. Someone ought to grab it, too!
