I sharpened my M-9 at 19 degree angle

I use a cheaper version of a Lansky sharpening system,,,a Blademaster,,,not to spam but to make a point only,,,easy does it,,,at any angle,,,do NOT press hard,,,you do not want to ever take too much off your blade these type of sharpeners WILL,,,so very light strokes is enough,,,my M-9 is always sharp ready,,,and I know its a bayo and NOT a razor,,,,but the edge is enough to cut meat,,,Regards, Paulie

Say Heah Mr. Oldsmithy

Sat Heah Mr. Oldsmithy,,,I just like a sharper blade,,,but, mind you,,,I very carefully sharpened my bayo,,,realizing NOT to take any steel off,,,I just used a flatter angle and now its a tich sharper,,,you have to agree the M-9 come not very sharp,,,besides a fine bayonet,,,it also makes a good survival knife ( in a pinch ),,,so I said why not,,,but not to detract from it,,,its just a tich sharper,,,and Thank You for the reply,,,Paulie
