SOLD G2 Contender Carbine in .300 Whisper caliber. Barrel done by SSK Industries/J.D. Jones from a Stainless Shilen 1:8 twist Match Blank. Warne Maxima base, Leupold 30mm PRW high rings (perfect for 50mm objective scopes) and hammer extension included. Barrel is threaded 9/16 X 24 with thread protector. Perfect rifle for those who wish to hunt with the Whisper as it is much shorter and lighter than a bolt gun. 1:8 twist will handle any Whisper load from 125 gr Supersonic to 220 gr Subsonic. With supersonic loads, .5 moa is common. Subsonic loads run 1 to 1.5 moa, although I'm sure someone could work up a handload that would cut that size considerably. Bipod in pictures is not included. I have $935 in this rifle (Base $30 + Rings $40 + Hammer Extension $15 + SSK barrel/ threading $535 + G2 Contender Carbine Kit $315 = $935). I will sell it for $625 shipped to your FFL.
