.460S&W able to shoot a .410?

Not that this would be sub-sonic but I have no idea where else to ask this question...

A Taurus Judge has a long enough cylinder/chamber to shoot a .45 Colt and a .410, my assumption is that their pressures are fairly close...otherwise I'm sure it would prove disastrous to shoot a .454 or a .460 from a Judge. Now going the other way...a .460 S&W revolver is rated a pressure of ~65k psi:

Question...does the .410 have enough room to open up to release the shot from the cartridge and are there are other areas of concern/consideration (ex. making sure the brake is removed from a PC S&W)?

I don't think the S&W cylinder is long enough. I don't have the cylinder length, but .460 OAL is 2.3" vs. 2.5" .410 shells + the need for space for the crimp to go upon firing.

At a minimum, I'm guessing that you'd tie up your revolver if you tried it. If you want to shoot shotshells, I guess you're stuck with loading some in .45 colt cases.

For solid projectiles, I don't know what you could get out of a .410 shell that you couldn't do better with a brass case in .45 colt, .454, or .460. And as big as my .460XVR is, I don't know that I'd want to shoot shotshells of any sort in it. It's not the handiest thing around, but it is definitely fun to shoot.
