Greenlight Jig.
 

I saw a reference to a jig being produced by Greenlight Arms. Anyone ever seen or used one? In the pictures they look much different that the others I have seen.

The greenlight jig is made much like a regular sheetmetal break and allows the user to bend a flat with the rails installed (elliminating the need for special tongs). you basically start at one blot guide rail and go down one side and up the other. It produces extremely crisp clean bends from what Ive seen, but seems to be less than favorable due to some recent events at greenlight arms.

THanks for the info. Is Greenlight having a problem? I did finally see one of the jigs. It seemed like it did a very good job.

From the usual gunboard gossip, chris the owner had a little trouble tooling up to mass produce some RPK receivers (I think thats them). Im hoping he stays in the tool business because I want one of his jigs.

I understand how you feel. It seems like a lot come and go rather quickly. I used to push planning and a realistic approach to a market and the cost of production. To many underestimate the tasks. Still, it looks like a well designed product. I would love to know how the factories make receivers.
