Phrobis/Buck M9

I've got a Phrobis/Buck M9 that I carried at Offutt AFB, Okinawa JA, Clark AB PI and Saudi. It's numbered 188 & has a chevron next to U.S.A. at the base of the blade.

It's not in the best of shape, but it's in rather good shape for as much as I carried it. The stone is missing from the sheath, but you can see the fish with phrobis inside it quite nicely. The belt clip has also broken off long ago & who knows where that went.

Is this M9 worth anything as a collectors knife?????????

Hummm, after reading more here I'm not exactly sure what exactly I have.

On one side it says

M9
Phrobis III
U.S.A.

and on the "blood grove" side it has

Buck
188
U.S.A.>

So, is this M9 worth anything or am I dreaming :p :p :p :p

You have a 1987 Buck commercial M9 bayonet. One just sold the other day for over $300 but it was new in the box with all of the original paperwork. I'm afraid that in used condition they are not worth much. Do a completed auction search on ebay and you can get an idea or it's value.
