The brass marks on the deflector don't bother me at all. What bothers me is that the brass is getting ejected out hard enough to make the marks in the first place. I trimmed the ejector spring a half coil, and also took off the Noveske pig the last time I went shooting, and didn't have the problem. My brass was easier to find, and was not dented.
