M-9 Bayonet From Budk

I just ordered this M-9 Bayonet from Budk, and was wondering if anyone out there has one of these models? It seemed like a good value for the price, ($49.99). It's already been shipped so I'm hoping to have it by the end of the week. Bill T.

As time goes on, this is not necessarily a bad thing. I've got several Chinese knives that hold an edge as well or better than some of the much more expensive domestic models I own. This is especially true with some of the Chinese Ceramic kitchen knives I have. They'll match and even exceed the cutting ability of some of the 3 digit European Ceramics I have. Just as "Made In Japan" lost it's definition of "junk" quality, China is quickly following suit. Especially as heat treatment of their metals greatly improve. Bill T.

So far I'm 100% pleased. As I mentioned, I haven't put it through any hard cutting chores as of yet so I can't say how well the blade itself will hold up. But thus far overall construction seems to be good and solid, and the fit and finish is very good overall. Bill T.

To be honest, I'm not sure. The gun is a 100% box stock Bushmaster Modular Carbine. The forend has the diamond YHM stamp on it, so I'm quite sure it's a Yankee Hill Machine manufactured forend, but as for the barrel there is no YHM markings so I'm pretty sure it's from Bushmaster or one of it's vendors.
