Custom dies for 300 Whisper?

Are the Hornady die sets from SSK and the Redding die sets the only game in town?

Any place where I can get an inline-seater like the Redding Competition Seater or the LE Wilson hand die seater? How about neck bushing size dies?

It seems pretty lame to have a hand-lapped, precise custom tube yet have to load ammo on mediocre dies...

Custom dies

Custom dies can be made by Neil Jnes.
I just ordered a custom trim die from him.
He can make about anything and is very helpful to get you satisfied with the dies you need.
He isn't cheap, but I guess I can tell you in a short while about the quality of the dies he makes.
One of the things which tells about his precision is that he asks you to send in three cases for getting the best possible fitting.

If you plan on doing so, I would suggest you to fire some factory ammo, and send these cases to him.

you can find him at www.neiljones.com

Thanks, Buckshot. Boy, he isn't cheap....but he looks to definitely fill the role of precision custom die maker.

As a side note, has anyone had the Lee "Custom Shop" make you one of their collett neck sizing dies in Whisper for your bolt gun? How'd you like the results (I really like this die for my .308 bolt gun).

I have just recently taken a 7TCU forester seater and made a new floating chamber to seat bullets for 300x221.
I simply made a piece that replicates the 7TCU seating chamber, but used a 300x221 reamer instead.
The area where the bullet slides up inside is then reamed 0.309"
I have not even made a proper 30 caliber seating stem yet, but the bullets are held so straight in the reamed bore that it does not seem to matter.
The 7mm seating stem simply pushes the bullets down into the case.
Don't take this as an open offer to make more of these, it was a pain-in-the-butt.

If several people were interested, I suppose I could setup and run some...
You can convert any of the smaller forester seater dies if you already own them.
