buffer spring

I just bought an AR-15 and shot it for the first time this weekend and found the buffer spring to make alot of noise and was wondering if this is a normal thing and if there is a way to quiet it down.

It is a normal thing... I have seen all kinds of silly suggestions on how to fix it but most include doing things I wouldn't do... it's just the way the AR works...

Now, some springs do seem to be louder then others... I just ignore it...
