Does any one have supersonic load data for this boolit in a 300 Whisper? I want to seat it to the crimp groove and shoot cheap. I have to go super sonic because I have a carbine gas system and can't get it to cycle sub sonic. What would my max load be?

I have the same mold. Has anyone had any success with this bullet subsonic or otherwise? Let's hear it from the cast bullet guys on this one.

I am using a lot of them in sub and super. I am using a carbine gas system with a jp gas block and the port drilled to .125

2400 12.8gr 1541fps
AA1680 10.1gr 1025fps Cycles action

Red Dot 4.7gr 991fps Does not cycle action

GDS - Thanks for the info. What kind of accuracy are you getting out of them? Alloy? Lube?

I made up a batch of them w/ water dropped wheel weights, gaschecked, lubed w/ LBT Blue, and sized to .310 I believe. Have not had a chance to test them yet though.

I have both 2400 and 1680 - will report back here when I have a chance to play.

I am getting less than an inch at 50yds with all 3 loads with 4 rounds but a 5th one always opens it up bigger. The subsonic load with 1680 sometimes breaks the sound barrier.

I use water dropped wheel weights. Gaschecked, I lube with a star sizer using some old alox lube I got at an old gunshop. size to .310

GDS,

Thanks again for the info. Are you using a can? Any leading issues in barrel/gas tube/can?

I'm looking forward to trying these now that I'm finally making progress on getting some rounds loaded.
