Barnes MRX 180 or RRLP140 in whisper?
 

have any of you 300 whisper fans tried these bullets at subsonic vel. I and thinking they might be expanders at that vel. wondering if any of you have used them on game ?

About 6 mos. ago, I called and spoke with someone in their tech department. I was told that none of their bullets (including MRX and their "green" bullets) would expand at 300 Whisper velocities, be the subsonic or supersonic. They need at least 2,000 fps at impact to expand reliably.
