Anyone know the manufacturer of this lathe?

I bought a old lathe to accompany my bench lathe, but am clueless on who makes it. I'm guessing turn of the century. Other than the need to replace some worn gears, it appears in good shape. I would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks.

I would say its an old Hamilton. It sort of looks like the lathe in pic 3 of the link.

Good find. I have a 1919 SBL that sort of looks like it...Bob

aametalmaster,
I appreciate the reply. I did check out many of the pictures on their website, and although they are similiar, they used flat ways where mine are v-shaped. The closest match I saw was the lathes by D.W. Pond. This would make the lathe manufacturer date around the late 1800's. Probably going to be tough to find parts for it.

I am sure parts would be real hard to find. But making some of them wouldn't be too tough...Bob
