Blood Groove LanCay M9 Bayonet

I just found this M9 on EBAY and decided to grab the pics and details for here!

Here is a link to the auction

Here is the description:

Quote:This is probably THE hardest USGI knife to find! A very rare 1992 marked LanCay M9 with the blood groove in the blade.

Blade is marked "M9 LanCay USA", this is one of the original forged blades made the first year by LanCay (Pictures show the cosmoline still on the blade!!).

Knife, blade, scabbard, sharpening stone are all MINT. Scabbard is marked "LANCAY" and has the military screwdriver with no safety stop and the screwdriver is located on the bottom.

NEXUS backstrap is marked with the 1992 date of manufacture. And the pommel is unmarked which is correct for the earliest LanCay knives.

Blade is 7 1/8 inches long
