Olympics upper?
 

What do you guys think of this Olympic 300 upper from Midway?

I really wanted to get a short barrel from Noveske, but it will be a while before they have some more.

For under that same $600, I'd look at the Model1Sales upper. As a base unit its only $365 but that's w/o the bolt carrier group. Unless you're happy with the stock options of the Oly, I'd look to customize.

The only other negative may be that Midway has the Oly's in stock now, I'm not sure what the leadtime for an M1S is.

The Olys may have the gas port in the pistol position which is a plus for sub-sonic.
