Full auto BB gun

Hey Guys,
Was just wondering If anyone here has experimented with full auto BB guns like the Strafer series? (or other design)

Thinking about a fun little project (:uzi2:) and thought i would ask for advise.

Thanks.

I have the Drozd "Bumblebee" which uses 6 AA batteries for the fire control group and CO2 for the bb power. Goes through CO2 cartridges quickly but there is a bulk fill adapter available via Pyramyd Air and some others that allow retrofitting of larger Paintball cylinders. I've not converted yet but my son keeps taking the Drozd out of the den to use it outdoors so I'd better get going as you only get several magazines (three I think) per cylinder. It's actually a lot of fun with three different cyclic rates to hose down an army of "advancing" soda cans and green army men. A bit loud too, but that's also because we have plywood for a backstop so there is a fair amount of impact noise.

Nice,
I was thinking about building from scratch.

The best design I have found so far is with the "vortex" block.
I have heard of using body filler for the block but i thought about milling it from 6061.

Most are using shop air for power but some are using larger co2 cylinders.

Theres a newer model strafer but i dont know if it uses the vortex block or a different design.

Any more input on the subject is appreciated.
